During his 30-year coaching career, Paul Van Den Bosch worked with top athletes such as Eric Geboers, Georges Jobé, Marc Herremans, Luc Van Lierde, Sven Nys, Thibau Nys, the LOTTO Soudal cyclists (Andre Greipel, Tim Wellens, Thomas De Gendt, etc.) and many others. With his athletes, he has won five European titles and ten world titles in five different sports disciplines.
He has written numerous books, several of which have been translated into English, German, Italian, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
His book ‘Coach voor het leven’ was in the top 10 best-selling non-fiction books for weeks.
In ‘Act like a Coach’, together with co-author Ronnie Leten (former CEO of Atlas Copco), he explains the link between the lessons learned from sports coaching and the business world in 40 ‘tips and tricks’.
In September 2019, ‘Egopreneur’ was published. In this book, Paul delves deeper into the importance of making time and taking care of yourself. Everyone should be an egopreneur. It is only when you are functioning well that you can take care of others and be productive in your professional environment.
In his book ‘ConneXion’, published in September 2020, he and co-author and business leader Jan De Schepper focus on the enormous importance of good human connections in achieving results. He unravels the seven paradoxes that every modern business leader faces.
His latest book, ‘Lead like a coach’, was published in September 2024. In this inspiring book, Paul takes you into the fascinating world of coaching. Thanks to his years of experience with European and world champions, he knows better than anyone how to demonstrate why the principles of sports coaching are equally valuable and effective for anyone in a leadership position.
Today Paul is also active in the business world, where he is a much sought-after keynote speaker. He translates his experience and expertise from his coaching career into coaching in the business world in a very practical and concrete way. Communication, trust, motivation and how to deal with stress are essential topics. He is convinced of the strong link between physical and mental readiness.
