Terms and Conditions

1. Identity

These general terms and conditions apply to all quotations, agreements, invoices and services provided by LISS BV, with registered office at Geraniumstraat 55, 2250 Olen, and company number 0883001886 (hereinafter referred to as LISS).

2. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all quotations, agreements and invoices relating to training courses and related services offered by LISS, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
The customer’s general terms and conditions are expressly excluded.

3. Offer and information

All information relating to training courses and related services (content, duration, prices, dates) is indicative and may be changed by LISS. Obvious mistakes or errors do not bind LISS.

4. Conclusion of the agreement

An agreement is concluded after confirmation by LISS, or upon acceptance of a quotation. A training course or collaboration is definitively scheduled after written or digital confirmation by the client. By confirming, the client agrees to these general terms and conditions.

5. Prices

All prices are in euros and exclude VAT, unless otherwise stated.
The price only includes the services described in the offer.

LISS reserves the right to adjust the price of its courses and services annually in line with changes in the index and consumer goods.

6. Invoicing and payment

Invoices are payable within 30 calendar days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.

In the event of non-payment on the due date, interest shall be payable by operation of law and without notice of default in accordance with the Act on Combating Late Payment in Commercial Transactions, as well as a fixed compensation of 10% with a minimum of €150. If the payment term is exceeded, LISS is entitled to charge statutory interest and costs for debt collection.

7. Cancellation/rescheduling by the customer

Cancellations/rescheduling must always be made in writing.

  •  The following charges apply in the event of cancellation/rescheduling:
    • Up to 30 days prior to the start: free of charge
    • 30–7 days prior to the start: 50% of the amount
    • Within 7 days prior to the start: 100% of the amount

8. Cancellation or modification by LISS

LISS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course/collaboration in the event of insufficient enrolments, illness of the instructor or force majeure.
In that case, the customer is entitled to a refund of any amounts already paid, without any right to further compensation.

9. Force majeure

In the event of force majeure (such as illness, pandemics, technical malfunctions, government measures), LISS may reschedule, modify (e.g. to online course) or cancel the training course without liability.

10. Liability

LISS is only liable for damage that is the direct and proven result of gross negligence or intent. In any
case, liability is limited to the amount of the training course in question.
The Training Provider is not liable for indirect damage such as loss of turnover, profit or productivity.

11. Intellectual property

All course materials, presentations, handouts and digital content remain the property of LISS and are protected by intellectual property rights.
It is not permitted to reproduce, distribute or commercially use these without prior written permission.

12. Confidentiality

Both parties commit themselves to treat all confidential information obtained in the context of the training as confidential.

13. Complaints

Complaints must be submitted in writing, stating the reasons, within 14 calendar days of the end of the training course or collaboration. Failure to do so will result in the performance being accepted.

14. Applicable law and competent court

This agreement is governed exclusively by Belgian law.
In the event of a dispute, only the courts of the district where LISS is located shall have jurisdiction.

15. Privacy and data protection

LISS processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation (GDPR).
