Mieke Hofman studied Commercial Sciences (educational institutions: Vlekho and Ehsal). Her professional strengths include building customer relations, sales and customer loyalty. Mieke has 22 years of experience in various positions in the banking and insurance sectors, principally in aspects of sales but also in product development and in marketing.
Each step in her career has brought new insights into both decision-making processes as well as sales techniques. She has experience of different management styles, which has given her a broad insight into how companies are managed. Mieke has good problem solving skills, is flexible and is always looking for challenges beyond her comfort zone.
Over the last 6 years she has been working as Sales Director, BeLux in the world of Asset Management. In this position she has come into contact with bankers, insurance companies and end customers. This has required from her a high degree of flexibility, the ability to adapt and empathy. In addition to this, Mieke prides herself on her boldness (in her thinking and her action), her optimism and her ability to separate main issues from side issues, displaying these qualities in diverse and complex business situations.
