Joris Uyttenhove studied Applied Linguistic Sciences at HOGENT-University College in Ghent, Belgium and obtained a master’s degree as Translator/Interpreter in Dutch, English and German. After completing courses in economy and law and obtaining a teacher qualification he started working as a sales representative and project manager for an international concert agency.
Joris has been a senior lecturer at the Karel de Grote-University College in Antwerp for over 30 years and shares his expertise in International and Multilingual Business Communication. He was head of the business management study program, responsible for co-operation with enterprises and students’ internships and has been coaching scores of business projects – mostly TQM – for companies and senior business management students.
Over the past 25 years he has translated annual reports for major international companies and has also given numerous tailor-made training programs in sales, business communication and effective telephoning primarily in the chemical and automotive industry. His clients include a.o. BASF, Bayer, Lanxess, Degussa-Evonik, General Motors, Borealis, ExxonMobil.

Over the past years he has built up experience in recruitment and language testing methodology for Selor, the Belgian Federal Agency for Recruitment and Selection.
